Open Outlook Express.
Click on Tools.
Click on Accounts.
Click on the Mail tab.
Click Add, click Mail.
In Display Name, enter your name as you would normally print it.
Click Next.
Select “I already have an email address that I’d like to use” and type in the e-mail address in the text field.
Click Next.
My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
In the Incoming Mail Server field, type one of the following:
mail.yourdomainname.com OR mail.mathbox.com
In the Outgoing Mail Server field, type one of the following:
mail.yourdomainname.com OR mail.mathbox.com
Click Next.
In the Account Name field, type your e-mail address.
In the Password field, type your password.
You may or may not check the Remember Password box, it is your choice.
Do not place a check in the box next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
Click Next.
Click Finish.
You should be looking at the Accounts window - the Mail tab.
Select the mail account and click on the Properties button to the right.
Click on the Servers tab.
Place a check mark beside My Server Requires Authentication (located at the bottom of the window).
Click on the Settings button.
Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) from 25 to 587.
Click OK.
Click Apply.
Click OK.
Click Close on the Internet Accounts window.
Your mail account is now set up on Outlook Express.
