Session Cookies Permitting Session Cookies resolves the following issue:
Users successfully log in. Then, when the user clicks one of the functional area buttons (Abuse, PostMaster, or Email Accounts), the logon page is presented.
The issue is that your browser does not accept "session cookies" or "per-session cookies". You successfully log on and the software presents the admin page, but because your browser does not accept session cookies, the software cannot track your session. When you click one of the admin buttons, the software tries to present the proper page, but finds that it doesn't know who your are.
Instructions for Internet Explorer 6.x On the Internet Explorer tool bar, click Tools, click Internet Options. On the Internet Options control panel, click the Privacy tab. On the Privacy tab, click the Advanced button. On the Advanced Privacy Settings control panel, ensure that "Override automatic cookie handling" is checked.
Then, ensure that "Always allow session cookies" is checked. Click OK. Click OK.
Instructions for Internet Explorer 4.x and 5.x On the Internet Explorer tool bar, click Tools, click Internet Options. On the Internet Options control panel, click the Security tab. On the Security tab, click the Custom Level... button. On the Security Settings Settings control panel, scroll down to the "Cookies" section and ensure that "Enable" is selected for "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)". Click OK. Click OK.
